David Kerr
Director

Joining Clacksons in 1963, David has 40 years experience in media, all of which gained at Clacksons!

Having joined the company as tea boy he progressed through the ranks to Chairman, spending time and gaining experience in and across a variety of disciplines including Administration, Production, Accounts, Advertising sales, and Marketing.

David is married with one child, Graeme. His hobbies and interests are too many and too dangerous to go into great depth. - his life is well documented!


Adrian Worsley
Director

Adrian has over 25 years experience in the media industry. He started in local press, selling to motor dealers in Bootle and progressed to ROP sales.

Thereafter, he worked in National Press at the Daily Mail before setting up the Clacksons Northern office in 1984. Adrian manages the sales propositions of the organisation.

Adrian is married with 3 children. He enjoys woodwork and general DIY and in his spare time likes music and watching football. With his two young daughters Emily and Annabelle and son Jenson, his current special interest is Shrek.


Lucinda Bell
Administration

Lucinda joined Clacksons in July 2005 straight from university after studying a computer science degree. She helps provide support for the entire London office team.

Lucinda enjoys music, partying and dancing where she'll dance the night away if given half the chance. She also likes to work out at her local gym in her spare time. But probably most important of all, Lucinda is an Arsenal fan.


Justin Champion
Recruitment

Justin, deputy Head of the Classified Team, joined Clacksons in 1994 where he facilitates and offers recruitment solutions to agencies.

He has 12 years industry experience gained at the Surrey Herald working in ROP and Recruitment Advertising Sales. He has a girlfriend but is not married and has no children.

He enjoys cooking and eating in general, and also playing and watching rugby.

He is currently studying for an Open University Law Degree, only 2 more years to go!.


Brad Glenn
Recruitment

Brad joined the Clacksons recruitment team in June 2004 as a recruitment sales executive.

Previously at Archant, where he worked for three years, Brad worked for both the Ham&High and the Recorder Group, mainly in recruitment sales. Prior to this he spent 2 years as a city recruitment consultant and has also worked as a graphic artist, retail manager and executive host at Tottenham Hotspur's football ground.

Fortunately for him he is also a Spurs supporter, although sometimes he cant quite figure out why. In his spare time Brad enjoys watching weird movies, socialising and mixing his own music on his home PC. He is also attempting to write his first bestseller - only about 30 chapters to go!


Beverley Hearn
Accounts

Beverley is the company's Bookkeeper. She joined Clacksons in 1993 but has worked in the financial sector since her teens.

She has previously worked for Abbey Life Assurance, Reuters and Courtaulds (National Plastics). Beverley was self-employed prior to joining Clacksons where she dealt with all aspects of accounts for small local businesses.

Beverley is happily married with one daughter and enjoys going to the theatre, cinema, and socialising with friends. She is an avid reader, completing on average, one book per week


Lesley Beale
Sales Support

Lesley spent two years working in the Manchester office of Clacksons, joining as Head of Administration and progressing to Sales Support.

She has recently returned to work in the London Office after taking two years out of the industry; again as Sales Support, she also assists in the marketing and administration department. She lives in Kent with 'her bloke', no children and no dogs!

She regularly goes to the gym and reads a lot during her daily commute. Lesley enjoys most of the finer things in life.


Clare Hills
Marketing

Clare joined Clacksons in November 2004, as a member of the Marketing team.

She has 6 years marketing experience gained at Trinity Mirror Southern where she progressed through to Marketing Development Manager.

Clare is currently studying for her Chartered Institute in Marketing Post Garduate Diploma. She enjoys spending time with friends, reading and mountain biking even though she finds it hard staying on the bike most of the time.


Graeme Kerr
Product Agency Sales

Graeme joined Clacksons in 1994 and is primarily an Agency Sales Executive in the classified department. He is also an Office Manager and is responsible for the data communications and maintenance of the general office.

He assisted in the office refurbishment and is the general events organiser. Graeme is the son of our Chairman, Mr David Kerr. He is currently single and a total gadget freak.

He plays football, golf and tennis (previously at County level). Graeme is always happy, nothing gets him down despite being an armchair Arsenal fan.


Becky McCandless
Recruitment

Becky joined the Clacksons recruitment team in October 2002.

Previously she worked for Archant - Hertfordshire for 7½ years working in all areas of advertising such as Sales, Trades and Services, ending in recruitment for the last 4 years.

Becky enjoys drinking, eating, music, film and cooking. She also fancies herself as a bit of a DIY expert.


Sadie Miller
Administration

Sadie joined the Clacksons Administration team in August 2007.

She is currently studying Business and Administration at college.

Sadie enjoys going out with friends and shopping at the weekend.



David Power
Product Agency Sales

David has worked at Clacksons for 17 years, joining as a Production Assistant, progressing to Production Manager and finally into Product Agency Sales.

He develops revenue for sales and Clacksons profile, maintaining profitable relationships with agencies.

David is married with 1 child, he enjoys playing golf.


Bill Punter
Product Agency Sales

Bill has worked in media for 25 years, joining Clacksons in 2000. Bill came to the company with 22 years of media experience.

He has worked in several companies including the London Office of the Manchester Evening News (when it had its own), A Plus Media, Amra and the Belfast Telegraph. Starting as tea-boy, he has worked across a variety of disciplines (Administration, Telesales, Product Agency sales), but not quite made Chairman!

As a Product Sales Executive, Bill aides the growth of advertising revenue from dedicated agency sales, maintaining profitable relationships whilst exploring avenues for new business growth.

Bill is married with two beautiful children. He enjoys watching the magnificent Arsenal FC, he's a general sport fanatic. He also enjoys the odd (as in how he plays) card game.


Kevin Rowden
Production

Kevin joined the Clacksons Production Department as Production Assistant 17 years ago and has been copy chasing and ensuring all artwork arrives at the publications to strict time deadlines ever since!

An avid West Ham United supporter, Kevin has also been known to supply some clients with winning horse-racing tips (but we are still trying to find those lucky few!)


Liam Scully
Production

Liam joined Clacksons in 1997 as Production Assistant.

He is involved in all production duties including chasing copy for newspapers and magazines as well as dealing with production and voucher enquiries.

Liam spends most of his time practising martial arts and runs a Kung Fu club in South East London. He has a keen interest in photography and photo editing. Other interests include DJ’ing, creating and studying music.


Danielle Smith
Recruitment

Danielle joined Clacksons in February 2007 as a Recruitment Sales support Administrator.

Danielle has previously worked as an Administrator for a medical practise and is currently studying Business Administration part-time.

Danielle enjoys partying and going out with friends.


Julia Stevens
Administration

Julia joined Clacksons in February 2007 as a member of the Sales support Admin team.

This is Julia's first Administration role. She is currently attending college once a week to complete a Level 2 NVQ in Administration.

Julia enjoys shopping and going out with friends. She is also fond of reading, and is an avid fan of the author Jodi Picoult.


Jacqueline Tasker
Accounts

Jackie joined Clacksons in June 2006 as an Accounts Assistant. She works part-time assisting Beverley, the company’s bookkeeper.

Jackie has worked in accounts for over 20 years, 10 years with BT in various departments and the last 12 years as an accounts administrator, covering invoicing, credit control, banking, budgets and various other accounting duties.

Jackie enjoys cookery, reading and exercising, if and when she manages to get to the gym.


Adele Wilson
Product Agency Sales

Adele joined Clacksons in 1997 as a Product Agency Sales Executive.

She worked for several publishers in Sales and Management for 10 years prior to joining Clacksons.

Adele’s main leisure interest is swimming and she swims most days before work. Adele lives with her partner in North London.


Nick Wilson
Marketing & IT

Nicholas joined Clacksons in 1987 to start and head up a marketing and sales support department. His official title is Head of Marketing and IT.

Nicholas has 21 years media experience, and prior to joining Clacksons he commenced work as Marketing Executive at Portsmouth & Sunderland Newspaper Plc before moving to the Marketing department of the national sales representative company MSB.

Nicholas lives in Kent and has a son, Sam. He has always had an interest in regional geography and characteristics of the UK.


Simon Winten
Marketing

Simon has worked in media for 19 years, starting out at Argus Press Group working within the advertising department; he considers this as his apprenticeship of the industry.

He joined Clacksons in 1988 in Product Sales but was soon lured by the 'bright-lights' of Marketing. For the best part of the last decade he has become the company anorak!

Simon enjoys rugby but no longer plays; he also likes to read techno thrillers. He enjoys watching the only true form of rugby (Rugby Union), though Simon Kelly may disagree!
